GREEN CATEGORY INDUSTRIES

Certain Industrial Sectors which are less polluting are considered as Green category of industries. Generally those industries which do not require any pollution control devices falls under this category.

Industrial Sectors having Pollution Index score of 21 to 40 are categorized into Green Category of Industries. The Pollution Index PI of any industrial sector is a number from 0 to 100 and the increasing value of PI denotes the increasing degree of pollution load from the industrial sector.Thus Green Category of Industries pertains to those industrial sectors which are less polluting as compared to orange and Red Category Industries.

Industry under Green Category need to apply Applications for Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate for Pollution Control Licenses.

Green Category Industries are less polluting industries as compared to Orange and Red Category Industries. Most of the Green Category commercial and Industrial setups do not require to establish pollution control devices under the environmental norms but need to apply for consent certificates to get pollution NOC from authorities in Delhi NCR (Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad & Gurgaon). Choose an Industrial activity from list of predefined Industrial Activity of Pollution Control Board which relates to your business Activity.
Prepare project reports, undertakings, details of pollution control equipment and other documents as applicable and required for Consent to Establish (CTE) application. File CTE application with requisite documents, information and fees.
Application goes under scrutiny of Pollution Control Official. A Complete and correct application would be processed for grant of Consent to Establish Certificate. However if application is incomplete, then official will either raise clarification or may also reject the application.
For Consent to operate (CTO) application, first take control measures w.r.t Water/Air/Noise Pollution as applicable to your industry and subsequently get Lab testing done of if applicable from empanelled Lab of Pollution Control Board.
File CTO application with requisite documents, information and fees. Application goes under scrutiny of Pollution Control Official and similar procedure is followed
